Under the law (17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3)), your notice needs to include all of these:

  1. Your signature. A typed full name at the end of the email is fine, if you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.
  2. What work you think was copied, for example a photo, an article or a page. If there are several, a list is fine.
  3. Where the copied material is on our site, with the exact web address, so we can find it.
  4. How to reach you: your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't allowed by the owner, its agent or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or allowed to act for the owner.

We read every notice and reply by email. If a notice is complete, we take the material down or disable access to it while we sort it out. Please know that sending a notice with false claims can make you responsible for damages.
