The program
These terms cover one program: BuiltForShops job alerts and account notices, text messages sent by BuiltForShops LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, to the mobile number of a shop owner who signs up and checks the text box on our signup form. This program is for owner alerts and account notices only.
What you get
A short alert when we answer a call or take a phone order for your shop (the caller's name, callback number and what they asked for), onboarding, setup and account updates, and replies to support questions you send us. The box is optional and not needed to buy; without it you get the same alerts by email. This program has no marketing or promotional texts, and consent is never a condition of any purchase.
How often
Message frequency varies. It depends on how many calls and jobs come in and on your replies.
Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. We never charge you for texts. Your mobile carrier's normal rates may apply.
How to stop: reply STOP
Reply STOP to any text to stop getting texts from that number. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. You'll get one last text confirming it:
"BuiltForShops: you're unsubscribed and won't get more texts from this number. Reply START to resubscribe."
After that, we send nothing more to that number unless you reply START. When you first check the box, and whenever you reply START, you get:
"BuiltForShops: you're set for job alerts and account notices. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help (support@builtforshops.com), STOP to opt out."
Shop owners who reply STOP still get their job alerts by email.

Reply HELP to any text and you'll get:
"BuiltForShops: job alerts and account notices for your shop. Help: support@builtforshops.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."

Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
We never sell or share your mobile number or your text opt-in consent with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. We share them only with the companies that deliver our texts, and they can't use them for anything else. More in our Privacy Policy.
Texts a shop sends to its own customers
This is a separate program. Texts are sent on the shop's behalf, in the shop's name, and each shop registers it under its own name; it is not covered by the registration above.
Order and request texts. Things like an appointment time to confirm, a confirmation, order updates (for example, that an order was received or is ready) and follow-ups about a customer's own request or order. A customer only gets these if they agree to them, for example by saying yes on the phone when asked "Can we text you about this request?" or by checking the text box on the shop's website form or the optional "Text me order updates" box at online-order checkout.
Specials and deals texts (optional). At online-order checkout a shop may offer a second, separate checkbox for occasional texts about its specials and deals. Both boxes start unchecked and each is optional: you can order without checking either one, and agreeing to deals texts is never a condition of purchase. If a shop offers a reward for signing up (for example, money off your next online order), the checkbox says so.

Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
